Hi Fabio. I haven't pulled the trigger yet on the Kindle, although I am still definitely considering it. We found another use for the ~$400 this month.

I will certainly keep you and other MP readers posted on how it goes, since I'm sure that I'll do it eventually.

By the way, thanks so much for reading! I'm very much enjoying Post-Weird Thoughts!

I was in a swimming pool in North Palm Beach Gardens with my wife, son -- he was 1 -- sister and brother-in-law. We were in Florida for another sister's wedding. My brother-in-law had never seen a shuttle launch. We had, during a year editing wretched romance novels in Florida. We lounged in the pool and watch the contrail rise into the sky a few hundred miles away. "Is it supposed to do that?" Ron asked when it split off into several flumes. I was too stunned to answer.

Thanks Brian. I keep intending to check out LibraryThing...I also like that it is "social," with tagging etc.

#4 is probably more curse than blessing, a symptom of indecisiveness and undiagnosed ADD!

Have a good one...

Hey, nice list. Thanks for playing. I'm going to add this link to my "15 things" reference post.
Also, #14 makes me think that you would love LibraryThing, www.librarything.com. You could obsessively track your books online!
And #4, I just can't do that. I have to focus on one book at a time. I've tried to read more than one, but it just leads me to eventually zero in on one of the books.

I have written a novel that may meet the standard for science within fiction, though it is as much about technology as pure science. The subject is nuclear power, though, so the boundaries can be unclear.

In any case, I am a longtime nuclear engineer who has written an very detailed thriller about an American nuclear power plant and an impending accident. It is available online and at no cost to readers at RadDecision.blogspot.com. My novel "Rad Decision" has far more scientific and technical information in it that most books of its type. It is meant both to entertain and to educate. The book is getting very good reviews from readers, judging from their comments on the web site front page. You might want to take a look. http://RadDecision.blogspot.com
