Seriously: is anybody cooler than Samuel R. Delany?
I may be a tad late jumping on the bandwagon, but aside from a body of some of the finest skiffy fiction ever published, Mr. Delany has now published the finest collection on writing I’ve read in a long, long, long time: About Writing.
If you care about writing, pick up a copy ASAP. Begin immediately with the letters, but read the entire collection. You will either leap to your keyboard or forego ever writing another word again, but either way this book will change the writer in you.
